This Privacy Policy explains how the Hadith Vault mobile application ("the App"), developed by Burak Öztırpan ("we", "us", "our"), handles information. The short version: the App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us. Everything the App remembers about you stays on your device.
Hadith Vault does not require you to create an account, does not ask for your name, email, location, or any other personal identifier, and does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind. We have no server that receives data from the App, and no way to identify you as a user.
The App stores the following locally on your device only, using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults) — never sent to us or anyone else:

This data is removed automatically if you uninstall the App. We have no access to it, no copy of it, and no way to retrieve it.
If you enable the optional daily hadith notification, it is scheduled and delivered entirely by iOS on your device, using content already stored in the App. No notification data is sent to or processed by us.
The App lets you share a hadith as text or as a generated image, using Apple's native share sheet. This hands the content to whatever destination you choose (e.g., Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram) — that transfer happens directly between your device and the app you pick, not through us. We do not see or log what you share or with whom.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. Hadith text and translations are bundled with the App at install time from an open, offline dataset — no live network request is made to fetch them, so no third party sees your requests for content.
Because the App collects no personal data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The App is suitable for a general audience.
If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of the App adds a feature that does process data — we will update this page and the "Effective date" above, and reflect any material change in the App itself before it takes effect.
